Former Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron went on the attack against the LGBT community on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, calling homosexuality “”unnatural … detrimental, and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization.”

When asked about gay marriage, the former teen idol turned self-proclaimed “born-again Christian” said he defined marriage as he sees it saying, “”Marriage is almost as old as dirt, and it was defined in the Garden between Adam and Eve. One man, one woman for life till death do you part. So I would never attempt to try to redefine marriage. And I don’t think anyone else should either.”

Nicollette Sheridan was in court on Thursday, according the Huffington Post, claiming that she was shocked and ashamed that Desperate Housewives creator and executive producer Marc Cherry hit her on her head on the set of the ABC smash.  Sheridan, who played blonde vixen Eddie Britt, is accusing Cherry of firing her after an alleged dispute and is seeking more than $6 million in damages.

Lady Gaga invaded snowy Cambridge, Massachusetts on Wednesday to launch her Born This Way Foundation at Harvard University.  According to ABC News, the foundation’s goal is “to challenge meanness and cruelty by inspiring young people to create a support system in their respective communities.”  But the foundation is not meant to just combat bullying but to “empower youth and promote bravery.”  A crowd of over 1,000 listened as Gaga spoke passionately about the foundation’s cause:

“When you see someone being negative to somebody else, it’s OK to intervene and stand up for someone that needs it … I don’t believe that one person can change the world. I believe that humankind, as a whole, can change the world.”

obama birth cert fake 2012 Sheriff Joe Arpaio claims Obama birth certificate is computer generated fraudAn Arizona Sheriff is resurrecting talks of President Barack Obama’s citizenship by saying he and his “cold case posse” can prove that a previously circulated birth certificate that Obama claims as his own is actually a fraud.

“A 6-month-long investigation conducted by my cold case posse has led me to believe there is probably cause to believe that President Barack Obama’s long-form birth certificate … is a computer-generated fraud,” Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio told a news conference earlier this week.

Arpaios is no stranger to the spotlight or controversy.  In an unrelated case, the Justice Department accuses the self proclaimed “America’s Toughest Sheriff” of racial profiling in an attempt to prevent Mexicans from immigrating into Arizona.

When Marine Sgt. Brandon Morgan returned February 22 from Afghanistan to Hawaii, he never knew the passionate kiss he and his boyfriend, Dalan Wells, shared during their reunion would be an world-wide internet smash.  The photo has been displayed on Facebook, Twitter,and other social media outlets.  Morgan told the Miami Herald his friend David Lewis snapped the picture and that “with all that was going on , we didn’t even know he was there taking pictures.  The world went away for a few minutes.”
