A member of the GaySocialites.com Facebook Page sent us this video by a young man named Shane Bitney.  In the emotional YouTube video, Shane shares the story of losing the love of his life, Tom Bridegroom, in May of last year.

The video not only tells the amazing story of a cute couple who found happiness, but it also tells the horrible story of what was missing due to the fact that these two men weren’t legally allowed to marry.

The video is a tear jerker.  It even made me cry, and that should be enough to tell you how powerful it is!    Watch Shane’s video here:

In the video below, Matthew also honors Barack Obama for being the first sitting President to support gay marriage. In addition, he creates the vision of a “canyon” between the two candidates as he points out their vast differences, especially when it comes to equality for the LGBT community.
