It's a monumental day for the Stupid Bitches Club (SBC) as many as we induct our biggest member yet.

Today, GaySocialites.com will induct the fattest member ever into the SBC.

New Jersey's heavy weight  gov-to-be,.Chris Christie, is the latest inductee and definitely weighs more than any other member we've deemed a stupid bitch in the past.

It isn't Christie's fat ass that landed him the SBC, necessarily. It is his stance on gay marriage. Christie evidently recently said that marriage isn't a right at all. He says it is an honor bestowed on those who deserve it making a week comparison to obtaining a driver's license. So, basically it seems that NJ's Governor-elect believes we aren't privileged enough to tie the knot.

That's cool, because we think Mr. Christie is a fat ass, stupid bitch. He joins such members as Britney Spears, the New York Senators who voted against gay marriage, Sarah Palin and many others as members of the SBC..

Christie is scheduled to be sworn in as the Governor of New Jersey on Tuesday.

Anthony Lago, the GaySocialites.com co-founder and editor-at-large, is celebrating his birthday today! 

He's my best friend and one hell of a person. [He may kill me for saying that! He isn't too crazy about the spotlight!]

Here's an interesting fact that few people knew until now: GaySocialites.com was originally going to be GaySocialite.com, a website all about Charles Winters. (Modesty is one of my best qualities.)

Anthony smacked me with a reality check strongly suggesting that we add an 'S' and take the website to a whole new level including all of you, and GaySocialites.com was born.  He has helped me fulfill my dream of launching an online magazine, and I can't thank him enough.

On Wednesday night, we're all heading to Vlada in New York City to catch "The Blonde Leading the Blonde with Sherry Vine and Epiphany" and a evening of shenanigans with promoters King Ralphy and Jane Leachy to celebrate Anthony's birthday!

Kylie Minogue was in Sydney this weekend, and she ran into some technical problems after performing her second song, 'In Your Eyes'. 

Fans tell our Managing Editor Anthony Lago that she filled the time well.  "Fans tell me she sang parts of 'Got to be Certain,' 'Word is Out,' 'What Kind of Fool' and 'Your Disco Needs You' acapella," Anthony reports. 

Some tabloids are saying that the show looked "unorganized" and "baffled," but Anthony also reports that fans he heard from said it gave the show personality.

"I'm being told that the pause wasn't abrupt at all.  I heard she was actually chatting on stage with the crowd before she even realized there was a problem.  They also tell me that when she realized there was a problem, she joked and kept chatting.  From what I hear she was a good sport through it all.  Kylie loves her fans, and she prides herself in giving them a good show," Anthony also reports.

Tabloids are also pointing out that her costume "got caught up" later in the show, but Anthony reports this wasn't that bad either:

"I'm told her arm accessory to the 'Confide in Me' portion of the show got caught in her head piece when the song ended.  The fans said it was actually kinda 'cute' and 'funny.'  Most of the people I talked to didn't even see it happen, so it must have been brief."

We also hear that her mic clipped at the beginning of 'Cowboy Style' and her battery pack fell off during 'Kids.' But again, Anthony Lago reports that no one really seems too upset.
