Meet the gay housewives, aka “The A-List” [VIDEO]

After evidently trying to snag our name and call their show, The GaySocialites of New York City, the folks behind the gay housewives franchise have settled on the name – The A-List.

The cast is made of a bunch of not-so-A-listers like Reichen Lehmkuhl, Rodiney Santiago, Mike Ruiz, Austin A., Derek Lloyd Saathoff and Ryan Nickulas. Who? That’s just what I said.

After catching this preview video yesterday on Gawker, I’m not sure I’ll even be able to watch!

It looks like Logo has decided to air “the A-List: New York”, and it will premier on October 4th. The big question is: will you, the GaySocialites, be watching?

Charles Winters is the Chief Executive Officer and Editorial Director our parent company (his namesake, Charles Winters Information Management) where he oversees such media outlets as GaySocialites.com, queerplanet.net, CouponAngel.us and FiDiNYC.info. He founded GaySocialites.com in 2005 and served as Editor-in-Chief until 2011. He still contributes to GaySocialites.com by regularly reporting news, penning a weekly op-ed piece and hosting our original television/ radio programs titled “GaySocialites.com presents…”

    This show is produced by the same production company that produces Real Housewives of Atlanta. When you see the previews it has that flavor of the five cast members bolstering about their “status” in society. Which means we will hear about their financial problems in a few months.
