Lady Gaga tweets about canceled Purdue concert

Lady Gaga sent gays at Purdue University into a tizzy when she abruptly canceled her concert scheduled there on Thursday night.

It looks like Gaga has just played her first "exhaustion and dehydration" card.

To explain herself, Gaga hit Twitter:

Gaga went on to say that the paramedics said she was suffering from "exhaustion and dehydration."

I don't think there's anything in the world wrong with it!  It happens to anyone who works too hard.  It's happened to Mariah Carey, Susan Boyle and even yours truly.

Lady Gaga says she'll be back at Purdue on January 26th.

I was there - no big deal. So we get two shows for the price of one. The big concern is - "Is she OK?" There were a handful of aholes, probably dragged there by their girlfriends, who acted like jerks. One person even questioned if she showed. I heard her doing the sound check before the concert, but when she postponed the meet and greet until after the show, I started to get worried. Everything was there - the staging with all her buses and 18 wheelers. So, it looked like it was a go, but something said to me "not so fast." Semi-Precious Weapons opened and they were fantastic, as was Jason DeRulo who followed. They certainly didn't give a hint there was a problem. And then after a break of about 20 minutes, a Purdue director of their culture program when up on stage. He was smiling - everyone started to cheer him. But he had a cop with him, so I sensed a problem. Repeatedly smiling (maybe out of embarrassment or because who knows) he said she couldn't go on, and seemed to drag out the part about the new date on January 26th. His delivery style did not help at all. In the end, everyone just left and for most coming back in 14 days is no big deal. Students can just walk over. I feel bad for those who traveled a distance. I liken it though to an NBA team that's been on an arduous road trip. It makes another stop for a back to back game, but the star is sick or injured and can't play. I wish Lady Gaga the best, and credit her for spending oodles of money to come to little ole West Lafayette, again, on the 26th. The Hoosiers should be glad for this - their show will be the grand finale of this US tour.

Gaga feeling like poopoo?
Charles said it best when he said that it happens to anyone who works that hard without rest.

haha, Lady Gaga is so funny! I love her.

I was intending to try and do a thing similar to this a lttle bit ago, however I never was able to finish. It's nice reading about your expertise.

Susan Boyle is an exceptionally talented lady who's been subjected to considerable pressure in the media. IMHO she deserves all of the success that she is experiencing.
