POLITICAL ENDORSEMENT

We didn't intentionally wait until the last minute to make this endorsement, but honestly we didn't even know she had any competition.  Honesty is the best policy, right?

As we did in the Democratic Primary, GaySocialites.com is pleased to endorse Christine Quinn for re-election in New Yorks Third District City Council Race. 

Quinn has been a pioneer for gay rights standing with Governor David Paterson and Mayor Mike Bloomberg as they called for the state Senate to pass legislation for marriage equality in New York.

Speaker Quinn, or Chris as her constituents call her, has also fought hard for expanding affordable housing, safety on our streets and civil rights for all.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.  The third district has a chance to do something great for New York City by re-electing Christine Quinn to the City Council  We can definitely use her leadership!
