This past Sunday night, former MTV personality John Norris was spotted at Drew Zailen and Akash Abraham's weekly event that we've deemed the gay Cheers!

For those of you who don't give a crap about the aging John Norris and are goo-goo for the go-go boys in the picture, Akash tells us that's the new line-up of weekly dancers at Arrow on Sunday night.

The new Arrow stand-out is cutie, Ashtyn Long. Akash says Ashtyn is from Tennessee and looking to make it on a bar somewhere. If you're on the lower East and wanna check out some hot boys on Sunday, swing by Arrow. You may never know who you might see there. Ashtyn might even bring his straight twin brother too! Two gorgeous Tennesseans are always better than one (and I don't count!)

The GaySocialites.com Party Blog can exclusively report that Chris Ryan is teaming up with HK in Manhattan starting May 8th for a new party called Pier 39.

Despite the fact that I work for HK, I got this news from Chris and have confirmed it with HK. However, I'm not sure what this means for Spikey Hilton's Socialista party currently at HK on Fridays.

The theme for Chris' new party is summery, fun and unique. Let's just see if it works!

NEW YORK NIGHTLIFE

Last Sunday night, I ventured to the Lower East Side to kick Steve Sidewalk's ass; but I actually had a decent time at Zailen Entertainment's weekly party at Arrow.

Steve and I had a little bit of a disagreement over him using the name Hot Mess to promote his appearance at Arrow. Anyone following Sidewalk or me on Twitter got to see the whole thing go down. In the end, I let everyone know that Sunday party was A hot mess - but not THE Hot Mess (which is, of course, DEAD.)

Arrow is a cool little spot with a gay Cheers kind of feel. A lot of my friends were there in addition to Sidewalk including Petey Pig, Akash Abrahm, Rob Bender, Dave Beatty, Vlad and others. Promoter Drew Zailen was even behind the bar pouring drinks, and he kept my glass full all night long!

If you're looking for a small, not too packed place to chill with friends; I would definitely reccomend Arrow on Sundays.

Legendary Australian DJ David 'Hilda' Hiscock had died. According to a statement from 3media, Hiscock passed away early April 25th while sitting at his computer. He evidently suffered a heart attack.

According to the same release, David’s next shift would have been tonight at 9pm at the Shift Video bar on Oxford Street Darlinghurst. Both Shift Video and The Taxi Club have tributes planned in his honor.

"If you ever danced to David's music, please raise a glass in his memory tonight no matter where you are," said Richard Taylor of 3media.

No word on when or if official services will be held.

NEW JERSEY NIGHTLIFE

Last month we told you that long-running New Jersey gay hot spot, Feathers, was being forced to close after their first ever citation for underage drinking.

After being closed for over a month, DJ Steve Sidewalk is relaunching Feathers with his infamous Wednesday night party.

As you can tell from the new flyer, it looks great. The weekly event which was normally branded as an 80's party seems to be a little more updated and much more pop-y! You can even win tickets to see No Doubt live in concert.

Feathers is located 77 Kinderkamack in River Edge, New Jersey. The party relaunches on Wednesday, April 22nd.

NIGHTLIFE SCOOP

That's the sign that once hung in the window of a bar in Peoria, Illinois. The Elbo Room is evidently doing everything they can to get rid of the gays.

The venue has evidently always been known as a gay bar even when it went by the name the Quench Room and changed ownership.

This sign reads: “We are NOT a gay bar!! We are a karaoke bar!!! 7 nights a week. Diesel is down the street.” After it went up, the gays gathered and protested.

"The sign was basically a sign of intolerance, and we're not going to stand for it anymore," said Stephanie Worlow, 27, one of the organizers of the protest that drew nearly 40 people. "It's time that we as a community stand up for ourselves. We're not going to stand for intolerance anymore."

Members of the LGBT community held three different protests at the bar last weekend. The owner of the Elbo Room, Greg Quast, says the sign has been removed and has issued an apology. He says he won't let anything like that happen again in the future.

Are cops really harassing a Brooklyn pizzeria for having a gay party night? It sure seems that way. The NYPD says they will investigate the "Fondle" party at South Brooklyn Pizza in Carrol Gardens after the NYPD ran a story about the gay night and go-go boys dancing on the bars.

What's so bad? The cops say the go-go dancers could be in violation of New York's cabaret laws. I say it's bullshit!

Mistress Michael Formika and Joey Israel have put together a little Wednesday night party at the Hose in the East Village, and it could just be the trashiest party that New York City has seen in a while.

Today, I was flipping through the photos on the WilsonModels website and came across lots of raunchy pictures from Le Raunch. I must warn you, they are NSFW!

We're talking the full monte including some photos of Formika posing with exposed asses and dicks and Israel getting his nipple sucked. Can you handle it? I'm not sure I can!

Le Raunch takes place on Wednesday at the Hose at 225 Avenue B (between 13th and 14th).

Wonder how long it will be before the NYPD starts picking on these guys?!

King Ralphy celebrated his birthday in style at HK on Saturday night with a packed house of New York's who's who including Dina Delicious, Epiphany, Yuhua, Petey Pig, GaySocialites.com's Charles Winters and the birthday boy himself- King Ralphy.

Instead of receiving gifts Ralphy was giving out free stuff out all night long. Someone even walked away with a new iPhone!

HK entered a whole new realm on Friday, April 3rd when they launched the new HK Blog. The new website features gay news, Hell's Kitchen gossip, fashion, technology, paparazzi-like photos, event listings and even an advice column.

HK owner and the blog's Publisher, Alex Meskouris, recruited an eccentric group to run the new HK Blog.

GaySocialites.com editor, Charles Winters, is the founding editor. He'll be joined by popular nightclub promoter King Ralphy as the photo editor and contributors like drag superstar Logan Hardcore and nightlife legend Rickey Mercado. HK's most popular tranny, Dina Delicious, will also pen an "Ask Dina" column in which she will give advice by answering readers' questions.

"This blog is going to be about more than just event listings at HK," Winters promised.

"We've got drag queen reporters and a tranny dishing out advice," he added. "Who can ask for anything more?"

All that with video, audio and a gallery of photos featuring sexy guys from HK events and messy drag queens; the HK Blog is worth visiting multiple times every day!
