Brad Pitt talks New Orleans and family with Anne Curry on "Today"

AFTERNOON CHATTER

Ann Curry aired an interview with Brad Pitt on "Today" Tuesday morning to discuss his "Make it Right" program in New Orleans to put people back in their homes.

Pitt's "Make it Right" program is off to a great start! They're getting people back into New Orleans, and that's what really matters.

When Anne asked Brad to talk about his personal life, he shut down though.

"I just walk away feeling bad about it when I do," Pitt said. "There is no way to give it true validity or weight."

Brad almost lost it. He can speak very eloquently about his work in New Orleans, but it is almost like he doesn't know what to say about his own family.

I'm not sure if it is because he is worried about saying the wrong thing or if his baby mama, Angelina Jolie, forgot to prepare that script. Either way, the end of the interview gets a little awkward. You can watch for yourself on the video above.

Pitt is, however, very vocal about his hatred for the paparazzi.

"Let me be very blunt: I hate them. I hate these people. I don't understand ... that they do that for a living."

On a positive note! I hope I look that good when I'm Brad's age!!!!!
