New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is not very happy with footballer Plaxico Burress, the Giants or the hospital that treated his self inflicted gun shot wound over the weekend.

Burress evidently shot himself in the thigh at a Manhattan nightclub before he was rushed to the emergency room. New York state law requires that hospitals report all gun shot accidents or wounds "at once."

Bloomberg said the NYPD found out that Burress was being treated at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell hospital as the media reported it, some 13 hours later. The Mayor blames the hospital and the Giants for not reporting the incident. He also believes that Burress should be fully prosecuted.
