Barbara Walters deems Barack Obama "Most Fascinating" person of the year

On Thursday night, Barbara Walters waved her magic wand over pop culture deeming the "10 Most Fascinating People of 2008." The big surprise wasn't actually a shocker at all. Walters named President-elect Barack Obama as the "Most Fascinating Person of 2008."
The entire list was released prior to Thursday's broadcast, except for Babs' "most fascinating" person. Practically all of the segments of the "10 Most Fascinating People" were broken down and already shown on "The View" and other ABC programs, so that ruined some of the suspense.
Those on this years' "Most Fascinating" list were: actor Will Smith, actress and singer Miley Cyrus, Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, actor Tom Cruise, "The Pregnant Man" Thomas Beatie, actress Tina Fey, actor Frank Langella, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh and Obama.
