If you're looking for somewhere to pawn off your teenager, Nebraska is not longer an option. The state legislature passed a bill there today changing their safe haven law.
After implementing a safe haven law there, officials realized they had made a mistake by not putting an age limit on the law that allows parents to abandon their children at hospitals without question.
From here on out, those wanting to get rid of their kid in Nebraska only have 30 days after their date of birth to release them to state custody under the safe haven law.
