Britney Spears' youngest son, Jayden James, was hospitalized over the weekend. Initial reports said the 2-year-old appeared to have had a seizure, but a statement on Spears' official website says that wasn't the case.

"Jayden James Federline was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 9th. Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested. He is expected to be discharged tomorrow."

Sources inside the Spears squad told People Magazine that Jayden James had "a terrible allergic reaction. He had hives, was itchy and irritable."

Jayden James and his brother, Sean Preston, were on a trip to Britney's Louisiana home. This was the first time they have been able to leave the state of California without Kevin Federline who has full custody of the kids.
