Proposition 8 leading the vote count, but still too close to call in California [video]

ELECTION RESULTS 2008

Proposition 8, the gay marriage ban in California, is still too close to call at this hour. It doesn't look good for same sex marraige in that state.

I actually thought that Prop 8 would be defeated, hands down; but that isn't the case. The passage of the proposition still leads the vote count, but no one really seems to know how it will turn out.

CNN is projecting that Proposition 8 will be defeated narrowly.

If Prop 8 does pass, then we aren't sure what will happen with the same sex marriages already validated. If you're in California and have been waiting to get married - you might want to do that today.
