A woman who was probably stalking Paula Abdul was found dead near the "American Idol" judge's home on Tuesday.

The victim has been identified as Paula Goodspeed and once audition for "American Idol."

Paparazzi photographers say Goodspeed was found dead in her car. The car itself showed a persons sick obsession over a celebrity. Goodspeed had a picture of Abdul hanging around the rear-view mirror and even had licenses plates that read "ABL LV," believed to be an abbreviation for "Abdul Love."

"It looks like an apparent suicide," said Officer Julianne Sohn, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department.

Reps for Abdul say she is "torn-up" by the incident.

"I am deeply shocked and saddened by what transpired," Paula said.

Authorities say Goodspeed may have died of a drug overdose.
