Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have spawned a baby boy, and in true Hollywood-style they've picked out an eccentric name - Bronx Mowgli.

Simpson delivered Bronx on Thursday night. He weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces. Who wants to bet that he's already wearing black mascara?!

Bronx is the first child for both Simpson and Wentz. They were married earlier this year after Ashley got knocked up.

Their representative said in a statement: "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!"

Congratulations to the happy little family.
