On Season 5 of "American Idol," Paula Goodspeed met her idol, Paula Abdul. This week police found Goodspeed dead in her car outside of Abdul's Los Angeles home.

Details surrounding Goodspeed's death are still unraveling, but police believe that she killed herself. Her obsession with Abdul was clear as she had photos throughout her car and license plates dedicated to the "American Idol" judge.

“I am deeply shocked and saddened by what transpired yesterday,” Abdul said in a statement Wednesday. “My heart and prayers go out to her family.”
