eHarmony to enter gay market after lawsuit settlement
Share on Facebook
The dating website, eHarmony, has settled out of court with a plantiff who sued them claiming discrimination as he was rejected from the site for being gay.
Two different plantiffs filed suit against eHarmony, and they settled with a case pending in New Jersey since 2005. A California judge also forced eHarmony and a plantiff there into negotiations ahead of their trial set for October 2009.
Representatives of eHarmony said they decided to create an outlet for gay customers as a part of the New Jersey settlement. As a result, eHarmony says the California case is moot. A judge has still ordered the two parties to meet.
The new eHarmony product for gay is evidently going to be called, Compatible Partners.
I say we should all boycott the new homo eHarmony product. Compatible Partners? They may as well have called it "The judge made us accept you fags, but we still think you're going to hell."
