MORNING CHATTER

President-elect Barack Obama outlined his plan to create 2.5 million jobs in the upcoming years during his Saturday morning Democratic radio address.

Some of the jobs that Obama hopes to create include modernizing schools, developing atlernative energy sources, more efficient cars and rebuilding roads and bridges.

"These aren't just steps to pull ourselves out of this immediate crisis; these are the long-term investments in our economic future that have been ignored for far too long," Obama said during the radio address.

The goal for Barack Obama's economic team is to create 2.5 million new jobs by the beginning of 2011. The President-elect said he wants to push the plan through Congress quickly so that he can sign it as soon as he takes office.
