DJ AM spoke to a group of family, friends and fans who gathered in Los Angeles for a "Welcome Home" benefit concert on Tuesday night!

This is the first public appearance for DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, since he was in the fatal airplane accident that claimed the life of four people and nearly killed he and friend, Travis Barker.

Jay-Z recently announced that DJ AM will join him for an appearance on his upcoming tour. Goldstein called the gig "the biggest thing that's happened in my career."

I'm glad to see that DJ AM is recovering so well!
