The GWU/Battleground Poll, run by Republican strategist Ed Goeas of The Tarrance Group and Democrat Celinda Lake of Lake Research Partners, shows drastic gains for John McCain.

The most recent battleground poll shows Barack Obama leading McCain by only one point, compared to the 13 point lead Obama had until a few days ago.

These polls are starting to scare me! Some show Obama up by 5-10 percentage points. Others show McCain down by just a point or two.

I'm afraid the polls may be way off. If McCain wins this election, I'll be shocked. But you never can tell what will happen, so get out and vote! The battleground states are going to determine this election!
