Today, we come out! It's National Coming Out Day.

This a day when gays and lesbians across the globe are encouraged to be themselves. Come out to someone, but do it carefully!

According to Wikipedia, National Coming Out Day is a day of awareness for LGBT community and an opportunity to address gay and lesbian issues world-wide.

National Coming Out Day was founded by Dr. Robert Eichberg and Jean O'Leary in 1988, in celebration of the Second National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights. One year earlier 500,000 people marched on Washington, DC, United States, for gay and lesbian equality.
