Actor Gale Harold was in a serious motorcycle accident and is currently in L.A. County USC Medical Center.

TMZ.com is reporting that Harold is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit, but they don't seem to have any information on Gale's condition.

Harold played the heartthrob bad boy, Brian, on Showtimes "Queer As Folk" and currently plays Teri Hatcher's boyfriend on "Desperate Housewives."

Gale's character on "Queer As Folk" is considered one of the most controversial and groundbreaking characters on television in our time.
