Rachael Ray is shooting down rumors that she is battling throat cancer. As a matter of fact, Rachael insists she is "the picture of health".

The National Enquirer is reporting that the Emmy-winning talk show host will undergo surgery on her throat to treat cancer. According to the Enquirer, the operation that would silence Ray for two months.

Her reps, however, claim that's a bogus report.

Rachel's spokesperson, Charlie Dougiello, admits that she will undergo surgery. He says it is a minor operation and is not as serious as it sounds.

"Rachael is the picture of health. She is having very minor surgery to remove a benign cyst on her vocal cord," he said.

"It's a common in-and-out procedure that she will have in early December and it will not adversely effect any of her daytime show or Food Network tapings."

Rachael is currently in Italy celebrating her third wedding anniversary with husband John Cusimano, family and friends.
