Church leaders in California weighed in on Proposition 8, the ban on gay marriage, over the weekend. I'm shocked to find out that some pastors, like Rev. Rick Mixon oppose a ban on gay marriage.

Mixon said: "It baffles me that they come down on the wrong side of this issue."

I'm just so glad that gay marriage is being recognized as a civil issue and not a social issue. Everyone should have the same rights. We've been through this battle before. You would have thought that we, as Americans, would learn from our previous mistakes.
