BREAKING: Jennifer Hudson's mother shot to death in home

The mother of former "American Idol" contestant and Grammy award winner singer Jennifer Hudson was found dead in her South Side, Chicago home on Friday.
Two adults were found fatally shot at a home at 3 p.m. Friday, authorities said. One of those people was later identified as Darnell Hudson, Jennifer's mom.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office has been notified of the deaths of two people from a home at the address, but additional information is unavailable.
I'm sure Jennifer has been notifed of the incident by now. Our thoughts and prayers are with her.
