"American Idol" losers are having the best week ever. Yesterday, LaKisha Jones made her way back to the headlines with news of her marriage, and today we hear that former "Idol" wannabe Paris Bennett just had a baby.

Bennett was in labor for five hours before her 5-pound, 15-ounce baby was born Monday. She named her new daughter, Egypt.

In a statement, Paris said she was "so excited to finally see my little angel." Bennett adds, "Man, does she have lungs on her. I guess she's gearing up to be the next American Idol."

Paris Bennett finished in fifth place of the fifth season of "American Idol."
