Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was the key note speaker at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night and as far as enthusiasm is concerned - Rudy stole the show!

Giuliani would have been the best choice for McCain in my eyes. Rudy may have been able to nab some of the Independents who agree with him socially on issues like abortion and gay rights.

Rudy has always been a friend of the gays but is hated by New York City's nightlife biz as he is credited for destroying that industry of late night parties and booze that never stopped flowing.

Regardless, Giuliani should have opened the RNC. Maybe it wouldn't have been so freakin' boring!
