A man died after being attacked by a crazy person this morning at the Liberty State Park light rail station in New Jersey.

Cops say they believe the killing was a senseless, random act of violence by a man with a possible history of mental illness.

Elgin Louis Taylor Jr., 24, evidently murdered 36-year-old Michael J. Fuccile. Media originally reported Taylor murdered Fuccile after a robbery attempt gone bad. Cops say they don't think that is the case.

Fuccile is being described as a family man and said he was headed to work at Merrill Lynch on the Jersey City waterfront when he was attacked at 8:30 a.m.

Witnesses chased down and held Taylor for police. He will be charged with murder.
