I've been asking for weeks where Pat O'Brien has been. Laura Spencer has been co-hosting "The Insider" with Donny Osmond or doing it by herself. P.O'B hasn't been around in a while.

Where in the world has Pat O'Brien been? While he was in rehab this last time, they offered his job to Osmond full-time. Donny turned it down. Pat came back for a brief while, but now he's gone again.

The ghost writers over at PerezHilton.com posted this "not-so-blind-item" earlier today:

What entertainment news host is about to be fired from his TV show after sending out a "bizarre" mass email to colleagues this past weekend saying that his female co-host "makes viewers want to vomit"?????? Must be time for rehab again!

Wowza?! Maybe Pat is headed for rehab again. O'Brien, a staple in entertainment reporting, has had several bouts in drug and alcohol addiction.

I think he needs to take a lot of time out of the spotlight and make a fresh start with his own show in a few years. "The Insider" isn't a gig I would turn down either... I'm just saying...
