Erica Hill takes the anchor desk for Saturday's "Early Show"
Erica Hill officially started her new gig at "The Early Show" this morning.
Hill, Anderson Cooper's sidekick on "AC360" at CNN, will also be working at CBS for Saturday morning's "Early Show."
The network announced earlier this week that Erica would get the gig permanently after a few weeks of a "trial run."
CBS News & Sports president Sean McManus said, "Erica brings a tremendous amount of energy and passion, as well as live television and reporting experience to The Early Show."
Hill will anchor along-side WCBS's wonder kid, Chris Wragge.
