Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez reach divorce settlement

Cynthia Rodriguez is probably going to have a wonderful weekend.
According to a statement from Alex Rodriguez's lawyer, Alan Kluger:
"Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez have amicably resolved their dissolution of marriage proceedings."
Kluger refused to go into details of the settlement that ends the couple's five-year marriage, but I bet Cynthia got off nice.
During the trial, Cindy painted the Yankee slugger as a serial adulterer and "brainwashed" by Madonna.
In her divorce petition, Cynthia Rodriguez, 35, demanded the couple's $12 million waterfront estate in Coral Gables, Fla., and "equitable distribution" of all assets acquired during the marriage.
She also asked for alimony and child support from A-Rod, who made $28 million this season. She asked for life and health insurance and enough to pay for private schools so she and their two daughters can maintain the "high standard of living" they're used to.
Alex Rodriguez countered that he was only willing to give her what was required in their prenup and threatened to make her pay his legal fees if she challenged the agreement and lost. Kluger said A-Rod and Cynthia Rodriguez had the best interest of their children, Natasha, 3, and Ella, 5 months, at heart throughout their negotiations.
"All of their decisions were based upon and guided by the best interests of their daughters," Kluger said.
I'm sure there was a lot of screaming and crying involved too. I bet good ole Cindy is sitting pretty!
