It looks like the day has finally come when Clay Aiken is ready to come out of the closet. PerezHilton.com published this People magazine this afternoon declaring that Aiken is finally admitting that he's gay!

In 2006, Clay told People.com:

"What do you say (to that question)? … It's like when I was 8. I remember something would get broken in the house, and Mom and Dad would call me in and say, 'Did you do this?' Well, it didn't matter what I said. The only thing they would believe was yes. … People are going to believe what they want."

I guess a lot has changed.

Now that Clay is a daddy, he evidently doesn't want to live in the closet any more. How long will it be before he starts making appearances with some hot gay arm candy?
