I've got some yummy news about "Saturday Night Live!" Michael Phelps is hosting the season opener!

Phelps will open the the 34th season premiere of "SNL" when it debuts September 13th on NBC.

Hip-hop star Lil' Wayne will be the musical guest. This is a perfect fit as Phelps listens to Lil' Wayne to get him pumped up for a swim.

Michael Phelps, of course, made history by winning 8 gold medals at the Beijing Olympics.

It's gonna be one hot episode of "SNL" especially for Phelps phans!
