New York City's Hot Mess party goes 18 and over

NIGHTCLUB SCOOP

On Sunday night, Steve Sidewalk announced that New York City's infamous Hot Mess party at HK Lounge will open their doors to patrons who are 18 and over just in time for Labor Day and Back-to-School time.

Sidewalk, who has always been an advocate for the "18 and over college crowd," says he hopes to create an option for the younger crowd that currently doesn't exist on Sunday nights.

"This will create an environment where everyone feels free to be who they are," Sidewalk said. "It will be interesting to see how the 18 to 20 year old crowd meshes with the wild Hot Mess regulars."

Hot Mess at HK Lounge is also adding more perks for the drinkers. In addition to the open bar raffles, Hot Mess guests can now also register to win bottle service and late night drink tickets. The night will still begin with $1 drinks between 10 and 11pm, and the open bar raffle winners will drink for free from 11-12pm.

There's no cover for the 21 and over crowd (as usual), and the under 21 crowd can get in for only $10.

On Sunday, August 31st Hot Mess will celebrate Labor Day with a late night party and tons of drink specials since there is no work on Monday.

The following weekend, September 7th, the Hot Mess hosts will welcome the freshman class with their Back-to-School kick-off party. More details to come.
