Olympic hottie Michael Phelps is writing a book just in time for Christmas, according to Free Press, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

The new book, already labeled "Built to Succeed," will cover Phelps' historic journey to winning 8 gold medals in a single Olympic Games.

Phelps' book will also discuss his life being raised by a single mother and coping with an attention-deficit disorder, the publisher said.

The book is scheduled to be released in December.
