John McCain tried to build some suspense on Thursday with buzz that he'll announce his Vice-President candidate on Friday morning.

McCain is expected to campaign with his running mate starting then throughout the Republican National Convention.

The Republican short list seems to be down to three people. Mitt Romney, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and former Democrat Joe Lieberman are probably the only ones on the list.

Romney never released his schedule for Friday, and Pawlenty canceled all of his engagements on Thursday and Friday. Both signs that either could get the nod.
