John McCain expected to announce running mate on Friday

John McCain's campaign is going to have less than 24-hours to try and create a buzz around their V.P. announcement if the Republicans plan to unveil their ticket on Friday.
His opponent, Barack Obama, did a great job of building suspense and even had the paparazzi flooding the homes of those on his "short list" in the 11th hour.
In order for McCain to do that, the buzz needs to start now.
All eyes are on Mitt Romney, but I'm being told by some GOP insiders that we shouldn't count out Joe Lieberman and Rudy Giuliani.
Picking Romney would help McCain win over more conservatives, but picking Lieberman or Giuliani might tap into more independents or even tackle Obama's base.
McCain will likely announce his Vice-Presidential running mate on Friday around noon at a rally in Ohio.
