This could be the best sighting ever of the infamous goat sucking El Chupacabra.

A Texas police deputy spotted the animal and recorded it running down the street while following it in his police squad car.

If this is El Chupacabra, this could be one of the first daytime spottings of the creature.

"I'm seeing it but I don't believe it. It's in the daytime," said one deputy. "A Chupacabra -- how crazy is this?"

Cpl. Brandol Reidel was on patrol with his partner when they saw something they couldn't describe.

"We came around a corner and saw this running down the road," Reidel said.

He describes the creature as hairless and says it has a long snout, short front legs and long back legs.

"It just doesn't look like your average coyote or dog or anything," Reidel said.

Even though there has been no officially recognized spotting of El Chupacabra, Cuero, Texas, boasts it is the world's Chupacabra capital.
