Here's the video that everyone is talking about as Keith Olbermann announces that openly gay journalist Rachel Maddow is taking Dan Abram's gig at 9pm on MSNBC.

Don't you love it! It definitely seems like Olbermann is calling the shots at MSNBC, doesn't it?!

Maddow will replace outgoing MSNBC General Manager, Dan Abrams. It is no secret that Abrams and Olbermann hate each other, and Keith made it clear that he planned to lobby for Rachel to get the slot.

Olbermann will definitely dominate the 8pm-11pm slot after September 8th when Maddow starts. "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" airs at 8pm and 10pm. Rachel's show will be sandwiched in the middle at 9pm.

I don't care! I'm just glowing that MSNBC is giving a gay journalist such a good gig!
