GaySocialites.com Awards Winners will be announced this Friday on the website.

Voting ended at the end of July. Our "online awards show" will include acceptances speeches and video from the winners as well as a "Honorary Gay Socialite Award" and "Gay-time Achievement Award" to be handed out by the GaySocialites.com editor, yours truly.

This year's awards garnered more votes than the past four year's votes combined.

The most heated race was clearly the GaySocialites of the Year award. We created this honor to recognize those who contribute to New York's gay community socially and/or philanthropically.

Previous winners Peter Yacobellis and Chris Ryan faced some stiff competition from New York nightclub personalities EricAndrew, Josh Wood and Chris Ryan as well as blogger Micah Jesse
