SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION

GaySocialites.com is getting geared up for Back-to-School and next weekend, we're packing Friday, Saturday and Sunday with Back-to-School celebrations in New York City.

This week HX Magazine released their Back-to-School issue, and GaySocialites (and our friends) are all over it!

The plan is to kick off the weekend at Rush with $5 Friday and party 'til they kick-off College Night on Saturday.

Here's what HX had to say about Rush, the back-to-school headquarters:

Rush As NYC’s only 18+ gay nightclub, Rush (579 6th Av) has become the city’s unofficial destination for the queer college set. You studly students can get in every night of the week, but there’s no doubt that Fridays and Saturday are this joint’s crown jewels. Chris Ryan and the bois of BoiParty.com rule the new $5 Fridays. Think $5 cover—$10 if you under 21—$5 drafts, $5 well drinks and free pizza at 2:30am. On Saturdays it’s College Night at Rush, the nation’s longest running gay college party. GaySocialites.com’s Charles Winters and Miss Alixandria join the BoiParty.com crew for beer bongs, hot bod contests and other queer collegiate surprises. And to encourage the campus realness, wearing your school’s logo or fraternity letters gets you reduced cover!

And then on Sunday, we'll welcome the Freshman class to Hot Mess Sundays at HK Lounge. Here's HX's take on Hot Mess going 18 and over:

Hot Mess @ HK Lounge This HX award-winning party has been a hit with the college crowd since its early days at Porky’s. Now, that appeal is about to increase exponentially at Hot Mess’ new home, HK Lounge. Charles Winters, DJ Steve Sidewalk and the rest of the Hot Mess gang are opening up their party to the 18+ set starting August 31. ”Hot Mess has always had a twinky feel,” says Winters, ”so the 18 and over crowd will fit right in.” Beer bongs, jello shots, hot guys in their undies on the bar, hot pop and hip-hop by DJ Steve Sidewalk? Yup, that sounds like the college bash we’ve been dreaming about.
