"Focus on the Family" praying for rain during Obama acceptance speech

"Focus on the Family" producer Stewart Shepard has released this video asking his right-wing Christian followers to pray for rain during Barack Obama's outdoor acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention in Denver later this month.

"You might ask, now why would I pray for that? Well, I'm still pro-life, and I'm still in favor of marriage as being only between one man and one woman. And I'd like the next president who will select justices for the U.S. Supreme Court, to agree..."

I'm praying that "Focus on the Family" loses all of their funding and goes out of business.

I'm also praying that someone gives Stewart Shepard a wake-up call to tell him that he isn't God and shouldn't be judging people.

I'm also praying for a new Aston Martin.

I'll keep on praying... "Focus on the Family" needs to focus a little more on reality!

Update: Maybe my prayers are working. "Focus on the Family" pulled this video from their site today! Where's my Aston Martin?
