Evidently the gays will pick abs and a pretty smile over an amazing pop singer when picking their icons.

The website, www.gaygolddiggers.uk.com, ranks the top gay icons annually, and this year Cristiano Ronaldo has bumped Kylie Minogue out of the top spot.

A spokeswoman for gaygolddiggers said: “Ronaldo’s ripped body, slicked-back hair, shiny white teeth and jewellery swung the votes his way. He looks like any gay man or woman’s dream. What with being Footballer of the Year, scoring 42 goals last season and former girlfriends saying he is talented off the pitch, he seems to have everything going for him.”

I have to beg to differ. I wouldn't exactly call Cristiano Ronaldo or David Beckham gay icons just because they're gorgeous. Don't get me wrong... Cristiano and Becks both look amazing in and out of their clothes, but Kylie, Liza and Judy - now those are gay icons!
