Warren Jeffs, who is already in jail for raping young girls, was indicted along with five other members of his Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints cult.

Willie Jessop, a spokesman for the church, said on Tuesday that members would face the accusations, according to The Associated Press.

“We’re actually quite shocked,” Mr. Jessop said. “As soon as we know who they’re looking for, we’ll try to face it. We believe in our innocence.”

These indictments are basically the result of the raids on the church's polygamist ranch earlier this year when hundreds of children were removed.

Other than Jeffs, the names of the polygamists indicted have not been released until police have arrested them.
