Police in Greeley, Colorado are stumped by the recent killing of a transgender teen. Was it a hate crime?

Cops identified the body of Justin David Zapata, an 18-year-old transgendered male living life as Angie inside her apartment.

"It should be important to recognize that this is one aspect of Angie’s identity, and it should be factored in very seriously into the investigation," said Kelly Costello of the Colorado Anti-Violence Program.

Authorities are still looking for Zapata's car, a 2003 dark green Chrysler PT Cruiser with the Colorado license plate 441ORN.

Angie's friends are demanding that cops look into the possibility of a hate crime.
