Bad news from the homeland...

Some loony toon busted into the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church in Knoxville this morning critically wounding 6 people and killing one.

A press conference is expected to take place this afternoon, my former employer WVLT-TV is airing it live and continued video on their website, VolunteerTV.com. WVLT is also reporting that Greg McKendry is the name of the victim who died.

According to the local NBC affiliate, WBIR, the man entered Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church and began shooting during a children's production of the musical "Annie."

An eyewitness said three church-goers tackled and held the shooter until police arrived and arrested him.

They are also reporting that the man had a lot ammunition, and no one seems to know who the shooter is.
