Los Angeles earthquake coverage could credit Twitter as top source

BREAKING NEWS

I have only recently jumped on the Twitter bandwagon, but I love it.

Evidently, reporters in Los Angeles are scrambling to find out what areas were hit hardest by today's earthquake. Many of them are evidently using the SMS networking site, Twitter, to get information.

On Twitter, you can post brief updates from your phone or computer about anything.

Today's hot topic seems to be the 5.8 earthquake that hit L.A. There doesn't seem to be a lot of news about the quake. Most media outlets are classifying it as a mild shake, but information is still being gathered.

If you're on Twitter, let us know. www.twitter.com/gaysocialites! As we get more news on the California earthquake, we will let you know!
