Jessica Hardy tests positive, leaves Olympic training camp

U.S. swimmer Jessica Hardy's Olympic dreams might be shattered. Evidently Hardy has tested positive for a banned substance.
This gives the U.S. Olympic hopeful less than two weeks to appeal and possibly still make it to the Beijing Games.
Swimming World magazine is reporting a positive doping test in the "A" sample, and nbcolympics.com is reporting that Hardy's backup "B" sample also tested positive.
If the positives are actually true, a first-time doping offense generally results in a two-year ban.
The swimmer's agent, Evan Morgenstein, said Hardy told him, "I never did anything wrong. I never cheated."
Things aren't looking too good, though. Hardy has left the team's training camp at Stanford and returned home to be with her family in Southern California, according to Morgenstein.
