Former White House spokesperson Tony Snow dies of cancer at 53

Former White House press secretary Tony Snow has died of cancer, according to his former employer Fox News. He was 53 years old.
Snow only spent just over a year and a half as press secretary. He resigned saying he needed to make more money. From there he took a job with CNN as a conservative commentator.
Before taking a gig with President Bush, Snow worked for Fox News Channel and Fox News Radio.
Snow, once a heavy Bush critic, did an amazing job of explaining and defending the president's policies as Bush's popular plummeted.
