Christina Applegates' boyfriend was evidently found dead in his home on Tuesday.

A neighbor found the body of Lee Grivas on Tuesday evening in the living room of his Hollywood apartment.

"I am profoundly saddened," Applegate said of Grivas, 26, in a statement to Usmagazine.com. "Lee was an incredible human being who was an extremely important and beautiful part of my life."

According FOXNews.com, the couple dated on and off for years after meeting through a performer in her "Sweet Charity" Broadway show.

Grivas allegedly had a history of drug abuse, and an autopsy report was pending.
